Spotlight on #GC2020

with the Clerk of the Privy Council

Webcast only

May 12, 2014 | 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EDT)

Since the launch of the engagement process for Blueprint 2020 – Getting Started – Getting Your Views and the Armchair Discussion Blueprint 2020: What We Are Hearing – Continuing the Dialogue, public servants at every level have shown great enthusiasm for contributing to building the Public Service of the future.

To find out what actions will be undertaken government-wide in response to your feedback, join Wayne G. Wouters, Clerk of the Privy Council, and other invitees in an interactive event celebrating the release of Destination 2020, a report on the Blueprint 2020 engagement process.

Hosted by the School and organized in collaboration with the Blueprint 2020 Secretariat, Spotlight on #GC2020 will feature live interviews with public servants whose ideas are being implemented, up-to-the-minute check-ins with feedback from social media, and special videos from regional voices and other partners.

Be sure to catch Spotlight on #GC2020 via webcast (1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EDT). Watch for registration information from your Blueprint 2020 Champion. Please book boardrooms and other large spaces in all of your locations to watch the webcast together, and to minimize potential bandwidth issues.

Participants and other interested public servants are encouraged to follow the Canada School of Public Service (@School_GC) and Blueprint2020 (@BlueprintGC2020) on Twitter for the latest news and to take part in live tweeting during the event. Social media correspondents will be on site to share relevant and trending tweets!
